Sports Park Hawke's Bay

Tennis Hawke's Bay currently shares facilities with Napier Netball. The "six months each" arrangement doesn't suit either code, especially with the increasing overlap between seasons including the increasingly popular summer netball league. Alongside this tennis participation has been growing strongly with 1500 members affiliated to Tennis Hawke's Bay - an increase of 40 percent since 2003. There are an additional 1000 secondary school players and 46 junior interclub teams.

Nearly all the region's clubs are at capacity and there is an increasing need for "pay for play" tennis. The indoor courts within the velodrome provide and all year round facility and complement the 16 outdoor courts.
